Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) hosted the CME Trade Summit 2018

Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) hosted the CME Trade Summit 2018. Over 115 delegates from across Manitoba engaged in insightful sessions lead by local manufacturing leaders.

Manitoba has over 2400 manufacturing companies – which employees about 10 per cent of the province’s workforce. In 2017, Manitoba’s manufacturing industry had $18.9 billion in revenues and was the third consecutive year of record manufactured goods exports. Manufactured goods accounted for 66.5 per cent of Manitoba’s total exports in 2016, giving Manitoba’s total exports an increase of 21.8 per cent since 2012.
