Logistics/How it works

We understand that every company is at a different stage of the manufacturing journey. Knowing how your business compares with industry leaders or where to start when creating a strategic process-improvement plan can take time and effort. We begin by getting to know your business by completing a Manufacturing Productivity Diagnostic, which focuses on 12 key areas:

  1. Process flow
  2. Innovation and technology
  3. Key performance indicators
  4. Quality assurance
  5. Workplace organization
  6. Continuous improvement
  7. Lean knowledge
  8. Communication
  9. Preventative maintenance
  10. Standard work
  11. Leadership
  12. Organizational culture

The diagnostic includes engagement from all levels of the business to get a clear picture of the organization’s structure and processes. By identifying challenges and opportunities throughout the process, we can help you make significant positive impacts on your business processes while mitigating workflow and financial risks.

ELIGIBILITY

To participate, your company must be a current Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters member and be in good standing with the Governments of Newfoundland and Labrador and Canada.
