They produce functional mukluks and moccasins that are designed for urban, outdoor wear and are currently ranked the fastest-growing footwear brand in Canada. They continue to grow their Canadian production while they create sustainable, ethical manufacturing overseas. The vision is to create a vibrant, global brand that makes a significant impact in Aboriginal communities.
Through global growth and a local commitment, Manitobah Mukluks is making a community impact with the support of Aboriginal artisans, successful Aboriginal role models, capacity building jobs and cultural education. The company also invests in education and employment through its partnership with the Centre for Aboriginal Human Resource Development in Winnipeg.
