Ontario Local Chapters

OVERVIEW

Building a local reputation, growing your business, and influencing change in the industry takes time. Becoming a member of a CME local chapter can help you speed things up at no cost.  Network locally with other manufacturers and exporters in a collaborative atmosphere to share ideas, broaden skills and learn best practices through roundtables, shop tours, and local events.

Participation in a local CME chapter is an opportunity exclusive to CME members.

ABOUT THE CHAPTER COMMITTEE

Members of the Chapter are invited to join its steering Committee which determines meeting frequency, content and coordinates regional events of interest. The Chair of the Committee is offered a seat on CME’s Ontario Advisory Board and provide a conduit of information between the Regional and Provincial levels. CME supports the Chapter with quarterly in-person updates and access to its extensive network of industry experts and consultants.

SOUTH WESTERN ONTARIO BRANCH (CHAPTER)

CME-SWOB has been active since 1988 as local chapter of CME

Led by local volunteers in manufacturing and related industries, CME-SWOB works  to raise the profile of manufacturing, promote education in the skilled trades and support those pursing manufacturing careers with scholarships.

Since 1995, CME_SWOB has awarded approximately $260,000 to 176 students from local high schools, Fanshawe College,n Western University and Lambton College.
