Charles Fallon - President, LIDD Supply Chain Consulting
Charles Fallon has been a prominent figure in the supply chain consulting industry since 1999. With a career spanning over two decades, Charles has worked comprehensively with clients across all levels of the supply chain, covering industries as diverse as food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, and raw materials.
As the co-founder and President of LIDD, Fallon has spearheaded the company’s strategy and global expansion, successfully establishing offices in Toronto, Los Angeles and Seoul. Under his leadership, LIDD has grown to become Canada’s largest supply chain consulting practice and a significant player in North America, boasting four offices and over 150 employees.
Fallon’s career highlights include leading the design and implementation of Korea’s first designated “SMART warehouse” and re-engineering a distribution network for American Textile Company.
Fallon is not only a pioneer in his field but also an active contributor to industry events and publications. Fluent in French and English, he works with clients across North America, Latin America, and South Korea, exemplifying his international presence and influence in the supply chain industry.
Philip Turi - Chief Operating Officer, Innovative Trailer Design Industries Inc.
Philip’s experience includes leading innovation and product development, strategy development and execution, risk management, operational efficiency, technology integration, HR strategy development, internal and external stakeholder management, people leadership and inspiration, go to market planning and implementation. His most recent role was Head of Advisory & Consulting Services at EDC.
He has also served as Private Sector Liaison Officer at The World Bank. Phil’s law career also includes practicing Corporate and Commercial law at Fasken LLP. Phil has a JD from Western University and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
Rob Renaud - President, ENCOR Advisors
With 25 years corporate real estate advisory and brokerage experience including an overseas secondment with GVA in the UK between 2002-2004, Rob serves his clients on a portfolio basis with respect to their Canadian and Global needs and activities. His focus includes team leadership, property strategy, M&A due diligence, portfolio management, site selection, greenfield development, consolidations, relocations, dispositions, lease renewals, etc.
He has been involved with over 30 million square feet of corporate real estate projects in hundreds of locations globally (across Canada, USA, UK, EMEA, Asia, LATAM, Australia) in a number of industry verticals with varied property types and transactions.
As President, Rob is the firm’s designated media steward and is regularly quoted in The Commercial Observer, Site Selection Magazine, SIOR Professional Report, Property Week, Commercial Real Estate Investor Magazine, BisNow, CoStar News and the Business Times. He has also been featured on both television and radio on CTV’s Business News Network (BNN) and through a weekly spot on CP24 News.
Dennis Darby - President & CEO, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME)
Dennis joined CME in 2017 after nine years as CEO of the Ontario Pharmacists’ Association and a 24 year-long career in senior management at Procter & Gamble, including leadership roles in the US and Europe.
A registered Professional Engineer, he is also an accredited corporate director, having received his ICD.D designation in 2011. Dennis also has served on a number of industry and charity boards as both Director and Chair.
Alan Arcand - Chief Economist, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME)
Alan is a member of CME’s National Policy team where he is responsible for developing and executing CME’s major national research projects, conducting CME’s macroeconomic analysis to support the organization across the country, managing our tax policy efforts, and be a leading voice representing the interests of the association and members with government and with the public.
Before joining CME, Alan spent 19 years at The Conference Board of Canada where he held multiple roles, including the Associate Director of the Centre for Municipal Studies. Alan’s background includes expertise in municipal, regional, and national economic matters including economic forecasting and analysis.
