Annual NB Manufacturing Day 2025

OVERVIEW
Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) in New Brunswick, will be hosting our Annual Manufacturing Day 2025 on Tuesday, March 25, in Fredericton. CME’s Manufacturing Day provides a tremendous opportunity to network with members of the manufacturing and export community within the New Brunswick economy.
New Brunswick’s economy is dependent on manufacturing and exporting as our sector is responsible for over 90 percent of provincial exports and more than 31,000 direct jobs in the province. We would like to take this opportunity to personally invite you to this celebration that will bring together industry, government and stakeholders of manufacturing and exporting in New Brunswick.
The Day Will Include:
- The Speakers Series – an afternoon filled with industry and stakeholder speakers who discuss relevant manufacturing topics such as The New Brunswick Economic Landscape, Exporting in 2025 and beyond, Manufacturing from The Ground Up, and The Challenges in and Solutions for NB Manufacturing
- Networking Reception with industry and stakeholders
- Supper with Keynote Speaker – Hon. Susan Holt, Premier of New Brunswick
KEYNOTE SPEAKER - HON. SUSAN HOLT, PREMIER
Much has changed since our last CME NB Manufacturing Day. Hear what Premier Susan Holt has to say about all things provincial including our economy and the budget, manufacturing and our export market, taxes of all shapes and sizes, plus priorities for 2025.
Raised in Fredericton, Susan Holt was elected to the New Brunswick Legislature as the first woman Premier of New Brunswick and MLA for Fredericton South- Silverwood on October 21, 2024. She was first elected as the Leader of the Official Opposition and the Liberal Member for Bathurst East-Nepisiguit- Saint-Isidore in March 2023.
She has extensive experience in both local and global business, community leadership, provincial and national advocacy, and social enterprise development. She has also spent a number of years working within government on economic policy. A champion of community involvement, Ms. Holt has been an active volunteer and contributor to organizations like the NB Lung Association, JEDI, Junior Achievement, Propel ICT, NB Association for Community Living, Fredericton Homeless Shelters, and more. She has degrees in Chemistry and Economics from Queen’s University.
Ms. Holt is perfectly bilingual thanks to New Brunswick’s early immersion program, paired with continued practice and a strong commitment to the French language. She, her husband Jon, and their three young children are passionate about New Brunswick’s great outdoors as avid hikers, runners, and campers.
