Together, we can do it!
OCT 23 AND 24 - MANUFACTURING DAY AT THE LEGISLATURE
Meet with decision makers and take advantage of CME’s unique access to inform MLAs and their staff of your challenges and opportunities as manufacturers. Groups will meet with participating Members of the Legislative Assembly from all political parties; senior bureaucrats; and other key decision makers in BC.
The full day event enables manufacturers to speak with one voice on key issues affecting industry and how we can work with government to drive investment, create jobs and increase export opportunities.
Our Manufacturing Day at the Legislature will include a reception to celebrate manufacturing in BC. All manufacturers and MLAs are invited to attend.
VARIOUS DATES - YOUTH PLANT TOURS
As part of our October Manufacturing Month activities this year, we are organizing plant tours for High School students (Grade 10 – Grade 12). Our tours provide students and teachers with a different perspective about the variety of career options available in the industry and also showcase how fascinating the BC manufacturing industry is.
Please consider becoming a plant tour sponsor. Sponsorship allows us to provide transportation and a light lunch for the student participants. We kindly ask that you consider sponsoring $600-$900. As a thank you, CME will ensure that your company logo and name is recognized throughout our promotional materials.
