Miguel L’Heureux; VP, Sustainable Finance; Corporate Client Group (RBC)
Miguel is a Vice President in Sustainable Finance at RBC, where he supports commercial clients across Canada in achieving sustainability goals through advisory and finance transactions. With 10 years of experience, including roles in China and Thailand, he brings a client-focused, collaborative approach to his work.
Miguel joined RBC in 2019 in Capital Markets’ Global Credit team, later moving to the Corporate Client Group to structure and execute senior debt solutions for institutional clients. He is a CFA Charterholder, holds an MBA from Fudan University, and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa. He is fluent in English, French, and Mandarin.
Sanders Lazier; Co-Founder & CEO (Carbonhound)
Sanders Lazier is the Co-founder and CEO of Carbonhound, a climate reporting platform that helps businesses of all sizes automate credible climate reporting to drive authentic action.
He began his career at Salesforce.com before studying at the University of Oxford, where he also taught Digital Transformation. With over 12 years of experience, Sanders has built businesses in Fintech (Octopus Investments) and PropTech (Goodlord) in the UK. He later studied GHG reporting at UofT before founding Carbonhound in 2021.
Matthew Thomson; Director of Strategic Sourcing, North American Bus & Coach (NFI Group)
Matthew Thomson is a Director, Strategic Sourcing for the North American bus and coach businesses of NFI Group Inc. He is responsible for supplier relationship management, setting global sourcing strategies and leading a team to execute continuous improvement initiatives in cost and supply chain performance. Prior to assuming his current role, Thomson was Business Manager, Strategic Sourcing where he led significant growth of NFI Group’s global supply chain compliance and responsible procurement policies and programs.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Thomson attended the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Supply Chain Management.
