who should attend
This workshop is ideal for leaders, managers, safety & operations personnel and manufacturing specialists.
JUNE 9, 2022 - RISK MANAGEMENT BASICS - ONLINE
This course will provide the ability and knowledge to:
• Define hazard and risk
• Define Risk Management
• Identify hazards and risks in the workplace
• Assess the level of impact for hazards and risks
• Select and evaluate appropriate risk controls
• Define a risk based inspection.

Megan Martin, Manager, OHS Consultation and Education Services, WorkSafeBC
Megan has been at WorkSafeBC since 2017 and leads a team of OHS Consultants supporting the manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, wholesale, and retail industry. She has worked in a variety of health and safety roles across North America for more than 20 years. Megan attended California State University, Sacramento and has a Bachelor’s, Business Administration, with concentrations in Human Resources and Risk Management and Insurance.
Jacqueline Morrison, OHS CES Consultant, WorkSafeBC
Jacqueline Morrison has worked as an OHS Consultant in WorkSafeBC’s Consultation and Education Services for the past 4 years.
Prior to that she worked for 16 years in the transportation, warehousing, and light manufacturing industry.

John Gottschalk has worked as a Prevention Officer in WorkSafeBC’s Prevention Field Services for the past 4 years.
Prior to that he worked for 10 years in the manufacturing industry within various jurisdictions, including B.C., Alberta, and the United States.
