In this workshop, we’ll discuss how HR professionals can
support leaders in their organization and how they can hold leaders accountable to new and evolving expectations without sacrificing leaders well-being.
Most organizations lean on HR to manage performance issues and build relationships with staff. But in reality, HR needs to support and enable leaders to hold performance conversations and build relationships. In this session, we’ll cover what should fall under HR versus leader accountability and strategies for how HR can support leaders to succeed in their role and impact workplace culture and engagement.

Speakers
Jane Helbrecht is a leadership development, people, and culture expert with over 15 years of experience in training and HR roles. At Uplift, she focuses on building people and leadership development programs that shift team dynamics so that teams can focus, get stuff done, and have fun while they do it. She believes leaders are the key to building stronger organizations and elevating workplace cultures.
Before launching Uplift Engagement, she worked as an HR professional in manager, strategy, and partner roles. She developed her expertise in leadership development, engagement, people and culture programs, talent development, and training and development. These skills were honed over her work experience in tech, finance, manufacturing, and consulting. Jane has her CPHR designation and is a Certified Leadership Coach.
