MANUFACTURING DAY AT THE LEGISLATURE

Overview

Meet with decision makers and take advantage of CME’s unique access to inform MLAs and their staff of your challenges and opportunities as manufacturers. Groups will meet with participating Members of the Legislative Assembly from all political parties; senior bureaucrats; and other key decision makers in BC.

The two day event enables manufacturers to speak with one voice on key issues affecting industry and how we can work with government to drive investment, create jobs and increase export opportunities.

Our Manufacturing Day at the Legislature will include a reception to celebrate manufacturing in BC. All manufacturers and MLAs are invited to attend.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Participants will work in groups of 3 – 4 to meet with as many MLAs as possible throughout the day.

Meetings are scheduled starting 2pm on Monday Oct 23, with the last meeting ending no later than 5pm.

The Evening Reception will be held at Coast Victoria Hotel & Marina from 5:30pm-8:00pm.

Meetings for Tuesday Oct 24 will be between 8am to 10am.

A full list of participating MLAs will be posted once confirmed.

Based on confirmed MLA participation, personalized agendas detailing team schedules will be sent by October 18, 2023.
