Delphine Adenot Owusu, Director of Government Relations, Schneider Electric Canada
Delphine was appointed Director of Government Relations in January 2024. In her role, she develops and implements Schneider Electric’s government relations strategy in Canada. She plays a crucial role as the link between Schneider Electric and Federal and Provincial Governments, policy-makers, organizations, and thought-leaders, as Schneider Electric leads the energy transformation to a more decentralized, decarbonized, and digitalized future. Delphine is based out of Toronto.
Delphine has national and international experience in building public and private relations and partnerships through her roles in Embassies, Chambers of Commerce, and non-profit organizations in Europe, Africa, and Canada. In her free time, Delphine likes to swim, freedive and hike. She is also actively involved in the French Community in Ontario. She has a toddler and a husband working in the creative space.

Debbie Slater, Director of Manufacturing, Maple Leaf Foods
Debbie Slater is the Director of Manufacturing at Maple Leaf Foods and the Plant Manager of their Brampton Facility. With over 35 years of experience, Debbie started her career in manufacturing at Catamaran Sail/Power Boats before entering the food industry over 10 years ago. As Co- Chair of Maple Leaf Food’s Women in Manufacturing employee resource group, Debbie is deeply committed to mentoring and empower women. Her passion lies in fostering opportunities for women to have “a voice at the table” and driving change to see more women in manufacturing positions.
Sarah Duguay, Leader of Human Resources, Endress+Hauser Canada
Sarah Duguay is the leader of Human Resources for Endress+Hauser Canada, bringing over 20 years of progressive HR leadership to the organization. With a career spanning retail, public accounting, and now the instrumentation and process automation sector, Sarah is known for her strategic approach to talent management, organizational development, and fostering inclusive workplace cultures. Her diverse industry background enables her to navigate complex HR challenges and drive impactful people initiatives that support both business objectives and employee growth.

Elizabeth Fabbroni, Ph.D., MBA, Dean, Faculty of Applied Science & Technology, Sheridan College
Elizabeth is the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science & Technology at Sheridan College, where she leads programs, applied research, and partnerships that strengthen Ontario’s advanced manufacturing and technology sectors. She began her career with Intel Corporation, holding engineering and leadership roles in semiconductor process development, automation, and test manufacturing.
Elizabeth later transitioned to academia, teaching manufacturing-focused courses such as Quality Assurance, Design of Experiments, and Materials and Processes in Manufacturing at Mohawk College, before serving as Associate Dean of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She has been a strong advocate for women in trades and technology, leading national and provincial initiatives and securing grants to expand access, outreach, and equity in technical education.
At Sheridan, Elizabeth continues to champion industry-aligned learning, applied research, and workforce development that prepare graduates to thrive in Canada’s manufacturing economy. She holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business.

Dr. Wendy Cukier, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University; Founder and Academic Director, Diversity Institute; Academic Director of the Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (WEKH); and Academic Research Director of the Future Skills Centre
Dr. Wendy Cukier is a professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Ted Rogers School of Management and Founder and Academic Director of the Diversity Institute at Toronto Metropolitan University. She is the former Vice President of Research and Innovation. She co-authored the bestseller “Innovation Nation: Canadian Leadership from Java to Jurassic Park” and is a leader in disruptive technologies and innovation with more than 200 publications. Launched in 1999, the Diversity Institute now has 80 full time research staff, 10 hubs across the country, and 300 partners, undertaking research and programs to advance growth, sustainability, innovation and inclusion. As the Academic Research Director for the Future Skill Centre, Wendy has helped design, implement and evaluate FSC programs as well as specific projects focused on advancing digital skills, and AI adoption, training platform for small and medium enterprises, nonprofits and municipalities, and capacity building and leadership development projects. She is also Founder and Academic Director of the Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (WEKH), a national network and accessible digital platform supporting Canada’s Women Entrepreneurship strategy leading research and evaluations to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

She’s a passionate advocate for women in leadership and has spent much of her career mentoring young professionals, both in academia and through her own consulting practice. Carlie holds certifications in Change Management and Brain-Based Coaching, and brings a people-first approach to every challenge. Outside of work, she supports equity in sports as a head trainer and team manager for her daughter’s hockey team.
