Topic: Inclusive Workplace and Communication
Workplace Diversity & Inclusion:
How is Productivity and Inclusive leadership connected? Inclusive teams start with a 17% higher productivity. They are 29% more collaborative and are reported to make high quality decisions. Why?
Diversity in manufacturing is emerging but what about Inclusion? It’s not enough to hire people of different genders, cultures, or generations – people need to feel like they are truly welcome, safe, and free to be themselves in the workplace. Easy to say, hard to do. Shop Talks will join Manitoba Start for a hands-on workshop on how to have inclusive conversations to define what is effective communication in the Canadian workplace. Identify the business case and benefits of workplace inclusion, explore challenging situations which can result in fostering inclusivity with those you lead, and take away some strategies to foster & discover what it means to be an inclusive leader. Join CME’s Shop Talk and make the connection between Productivity and Inclusion within the workplace.
