Winnipeg Transit Forum

OVERVIEW

CME Manitoba is hosting a forum in response to ongoing discussions with Winnipeg Transit regarding the new 2025 Transit System Map and its implications for industrial zones. The forum will focus on the alignment of transit schedules with the needs of manufacturers and industrial workers, particularly regarding service to areas with limited transit access.

We are welcoming feedback from CME members to better understand workforce movement patterns. This data will be instrumental in tailoring transit routes to support employee access, especially during mid-day, evening, and weekend shifts.

During the forum, CME members will have the opportunity to share specific information about employee transit needs, including key locations, times, and volumes. Join us to collaborate on building a more accessible and effective transit network for Winnipeg’s manufacturing sector.
