Within these walls, operations include injection molding (60-2700 US Ton), semi-automatic, complex automated assembly, and real-time machine production tracking. It’s a symphony of innovation.

Their company story takes an exciting turn when they become a participant of CME’s Technology Investment Program, funded by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario).

This program allowed Global Plas to implement three unique automation cells. These unique cells weren’t just technological marvels, they became the catalyst for securing future business opportunities, retaining their workforce, and propelling continuous growth.

Speaking of growth, the company has boasted a jaw-dropping 100% increase in their workforce over the past five years. How? Thanks to their continuous improvement projects and improved quality, all made possible through automation.

As a direct result of implementing new technology, Global Plas is currently working with an existing customer to handle an insert molding operation. This venture will require three additional automation cells to load metal inserts into their molding operations.

For Global Plas, technology has been a clear driver for expansion, and they’re not hitting the brakes anytime soon.
