CME has administered approximately $100 million in non-repayable direct funding to more than 1,800 manufacturing projects across Ontario through various SMART Programs. With CME SMART, manufacturers have secured government funding to help improve productivity, promote innovation through the adoption of new technologies, increase competitiveness, reduce greenhouse gas, and improve energy efficiency.

SMART Programs represent an investment in the future. The program supports Ontario manufacturers who want to scale-up and grow their businesses.

Who Would Benefit

  • Small and medium sized manufacturers in Ontario
  • Applicant companies must be financially stable incorporated businesses with 2+ years’ operating history in Ontario
  • Open to all manufacturers – CME Members and Non-Members
