Nov, 16, 23, 30, Dec. 14 & 15, 2021 (In Person) 8:30 am - 3:00 pm daily

Course Overview

  • Tuesday, November 9 for 1 hour virtual as an intro to the course (9:00 to 10:00)
  • Prior to November 16, the student works at their own pace and at a convenient time, approximately 1.5 hours, on the online component where participants will learn about Customer Value, 5 Principles of Lean, and 8 wastes.
  • Tuesday, November 16  in person for 7 hours (8:30 to 3:00) Airplane Simulation
  • Prior to November 23, the student works at their own pace, approximately 1.5 hours, on the online component where participants will learn about Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Value Assessment
  • Tuesday, November 23, in person for 7 hours (8:30 to 3:00) VSM exercise
  • Prior to November 30, the student works at their own pace, approximately 1.5 hours, on the online component where participants will learn about 5S and Standard Work
  • Tuesday, November 30 in person for 7 hours (8:30 to 3:00) 5S and Standard work Exercise
  • Prior to December 14, the student works at their own pace, approximately 1.5 hours, on the Online component where participants will learn about Visual Management, Problem Solving, and will upload their required homework
  • Tuesday, December 14 in person for 7 hours (8:30 to 3:00) Huddle Board Exercise and the start of the Case Study
  • Wednesday, December 15 in person for 7 hours (8:30 to 3:00) Finish Case Study and Graduation
