Feb. 15, 22, Mar. 1, 17 & 18, 2022 (In Person) 8:30 am - 3:00 pm each day

Course Overview

 

  • Tuesday, February 8 for 1 hour virtual as an intro to the course (9:00 to 10:00)
  • Prior to February 15, the student works at their own pace and at a convenient time, approximately 1.5 hours, on the online component where participants will learn about Customer Value, 5 Principles of Lean, and 8 wastes.
  • Tuesday, February 15  in person for 7 hours (8:30 to 3:00) Airplane Simulation
  • Prior to February 22, the student works at their own pace, approximately 1.5 hours, on the online component where participants will learn about Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Value Assessment
  • Tuesday, February 22, in person for 7 hours (8:30 to 3:00) VSM exercise
  • Prior to March 1, the student works at their own pace, approximately 1.5 hours, on the online component where participants will learn about 5S and Standard Work
  • Tuesday, March 1 in person for 7 hours (8:30 to 3:00) 5S and Standard work Exercise
  • Prior to March 17, the student works at their own pace, approximately 1.5 hours, on the Online component where participants will learn about Visual Management, Problem Solving, and will upload their required homework
  • Thursday, March 17 in person for 7 hours (8:30 to 3:00) Huddle Board Exercise and the start of the Case Study
  • Friday, March 18 in person for 7 hours (8:30 to 3:00) Finish Case Study and Graduation
