Global Innovation Leaders
Edmonton Exchanger was founded in 1975 and is over 1,000 employees strong. We are a multidivisional company that features a wide range of products and services for applications in industries that include oil and gas, petrochemical and power generation.
We manufacture the lion’s share of the pressure vessel heads and shells for Western Canada’s energy sector at our main plant location in Edmonton, Alberta. This facility features the most extensive one-stop pressure vessel head forming and steel plate rolling capabilities in North America, as well as one of the largest pressure vessel quality steel plate inventories in the world.
Many of our leading-edge steel fabrication technologies were developed in-house by Edmonton Exchanger employees, and give us the unique ability to fabricate our steel products to a very large scale, and to the highest levels of precision and quality.
At Edmonton Exchanger, safety, quality and productivity are interconnected and together equal success. This is what makes us a leader in a unionized market. We place a high value on training and developing our employees through numerous apprenticeship programs for various trades. Additionally, we work with a number of divisions of Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) Alberta to help promote the development of apprenticeship programs and initiatives. Edmonton Exchanger believes that through a strong commitment to apprenticeships and the development of a skilled workforce today, we will help foster the industry leaders of tomorrow.
