After years of advocacy by CME and our members, the Government of Ontario announced in its 2022 budget that it would work collaboratively with the manufacturing industry to develop an Advanced Manufacturing Strategy.

To make sure this strategy is truly representative of the challenges and opportunities facing the industry, the province has established an Advanced Manufacturing Council. CME’s President & CEO, Dennis Darby, was appointed to the Council to represent the voice of manufacturers from across Ontario.
