Overview
Guided by CME’s Net Zero Industrial Strategy Paper, which is created by manufacturers for manufacturing industry, CME’s National Energy and Environment Committee (NEEC) focuses on key energy and environment issues and opportunities at federal level to maintain Canadian manufacturers’ competitiveness while supporting investment and job creation as Canada moves to its net-zero targets.
The NEEC develops and presents recommendations to the federal government and addresses various energy and environment issues including net-zero transition, clean energy and technology investment tax credits and incentives, clean electricity regulations, chemical management, plastics, CEPA.
