Overview
CME’s National Energy and Environment Council (NEEC) focuses on key energy & environment issues and opportunities at a federal level to maintain Canadian manufacturers’ competitiveness while supporting investment as Canada moves to its net-zero targets.
The NEECs input enables us to develop and present recommendations to the federal government and addresses various energy and environment issues including net-zero transition, clean energy and technology investment tax credits & incentives, clean electricity regulations, chemical management, plastic and CEPA.
