Women in Manufacturing Working Group
OVERVIEW
Join us in reshaping the future of manufacturing. CME’s Women in Manufacturing Initiative aims to increase the number of women in manufacturing by 100,000 by 2030.
This collaborative, CME member-driven group unites women and men from manufacturing companies across Canada to support, promote, and inspire women in manufacturing.
Through targeted initiatives, the working group focuses on three key pillars:
- Engage and Inspire: Introducing young women and girls to STEM and skilled trades, sparking curiosity and laying the foundation for future careers in manufacturing.
- Attract and Retain: Growing and supporting a workforce where women enter and thrive, fostering long-term retention in the industry.
- Empower, Support, and Accelerate: Equipping women with the resources and support they need to achieve meaningful, lasting success in the workplace.
