About Us

Murray Latta Progressive Machine is so much more than a typical machine shop. What started out in 1918 with Murray-Latta Machine as a custom machinery manufacturer and steel fabrication shop, quickly expanded to include field millwright and project management services. Through Progressive Mill Supplies beginning in 1954, they’ve been distributing capital equipment, parts and consumables to the forestry sector, while offering equipment upgrades, installation, maintenance and repair. With the addition of the new Brunette Machinery Company and Kimwood Machinery Inc., they’ve expanded the presence to include their 70+ years of design and manufacturing experience in the forestry sector.
