TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENT FOR BRITISH COLUMBIA – APPLICATION PROCESS
PHASE 1: ELIGIBILITY APPLICATION FORM
Companies interested in applying to the Technology Assessment Program can start by submitting an Application Form. CME will review the application and may request supporting documents from the applicant.
PHASE 2: PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT – IDENTIFYING THE CHALLENGE
A CME representative will connect you with an expert LEAN Facilitator. This second phase includes a preliminary assessment of what you, the Applicant, is proposing. The Technology Proposal Form will be completed with the assistance of the Facilitator.
PHASE 3: ASSESSMENT – IN DEPTH ANALYSIS
The LEAN Facilitator will come to your facility and work with your team to conduct a complete analysis of your proposal. This analysis should take three to four days and at the end of the process you will have a thorough understanding of the risks and cost / benefits of your planned technology purchase or process change. The Facilitator will also create an action plan that should include purchase advice, implementation strategies tactics as well as a training plan to guide you in moving forward with your purchase or change.
