PHASE 1: ELIGIBILITY APPLICATION FORM
Companies interested in applying to the Technology Assessment Program can start by submitting an Application Form. CME will review the application and may request supporting documents from the applicant.
PHASE 2: PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT – IDENTIFYING THE CHALLENGE
A CME representative will contact approved applicants and connect you with a LEAN Facilitator. This second phase includes a preliminary assessment of what the applicant is proposing. The Technology Proposal Form will be completed by the applicant with the assistance of the Facilitator.
PHASE 3: ASSESSMENT – IN DEPTH ANALYSIS
The LEAN Facilitator will come to your facility and work with your team to conduct a complete analysis of your proposal. The analysis should take three to four days and at the end of the process you, the manufacturer, will have a thorough understanding of the risks and benefits of the planned equipment / technology purchase. The Facilitator will also create an action plan that should include purchase advice, implementation strategies and tactics as well as training plans.
