TOURS

Imagine if you could tour a local company and see the creation of a 3D design on a computer, watch it get “printed” and then get to see the finished product? This program will expose students, teachers and parents to manufacturing processes from design to the building and assembling of a product, and ultimately the marketing and sales process. Tours are scheduled throughout Canada.

LEAN 101 FOR YOUTH

The curriculum for Lean 101 focuses on process improvement to increase efficiency throughout all processes in an organization. Students gain practical knowledge through by learning organizational tools such as 5S and the eight forms of waste. The program will also introduce the Lean concept of value, driven from the customer perspective.

Throughout the workshop students will learn to develop an aptitude for failure as a positive experience and learn to set scientific measures to support and improve on a process until a desired outcome is reached through experimentation.
