As Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority (RPRA) Registrar, Mary Cummins leads the Authority’s support, compliance, and enforcement functions, and the Registry system used to receive and store information related to resource recovery and waste reduction activities.

Harnessing the Power of Emission Performance Standards Proceeds

Last fall, the Ontario Government announced that companies paying proceeds under the Emission Performance Standards (EPS) would be able to recover up to 100% of proceeds to fund emission reduction initiatives in their businesses. The province has estimated that the EPS will help industry save over $1 billion compared to the equivalent federal policy.
