“The CME Lean Greenbelt Training Program taught us the value of “going to the gemba.”  Gemba is the Japanese word for “the place where value is created.” The gemba from our training was the insights gained from working together in teams of people from diverse industries to help companies apply Lean principles to their processes. We returned to our own company inspired and well equipped to continually improve.”
