Kick start or advance your organization’s digital transformation!
A 2-day introduction to the 9 platforms of Digital Manufacturing to support and advance organizations on their Lean journeys. Participants will familiarize themselves with common terminologies and processes, and their linkages to Lean operations; understand the business case for Digital Manufacturing adoption, and prioritize and plan their organization’s digital transformation.

Canadian manufacturers can maximize their productivity and profitability if they understand where digital technologies and processes can be effectively utilized within their operations. It can benefit all manufacturing sectors and can be cost-effectively integrated with current operations, processes and equipment. Digitalization of production and office processes is a logical extension of LEAN.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- To become familiar with the 9 digital manufacturing technologies and to identify the linkages between LEAN and digital manufacturing.
- To develop a basic understanding of the business case/necessity, for digital transformation.
- To provide a number of user-case examples that can be used to link digital technologies and processes to manufacturing operations.
- To enable the development and definition of next steps, how to identify the digital value proposition, prioritize and plan a digital transformation.
