Meet Our Hosts

Hansen Industries Ltd. was founded in 1975 in Richmond, British Columbia. They have evolved from a supplier of elevator replacement parts into a versatile operation that includes a custom precision sheet metal shop, a machine shop, a stamping shop, and a waterjet cutting shop. They operate dozens of Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines and over 50 manual machines to manufacture metal parts. They employ between 100 and 150 people and utilize 70,000 square feet of industrial space. On April 1, 2023, Exchange Income Corporation (EIC) (https://www.exchangeincomecorp.ca/) acquired Hansen Industries Ltd.

In the 20 years since inception Shearwater has captured a dominant market position among scuba diving computers with a distribution network of more than 600 dealers in 90 countries around the world. what to expect

Visit 2 manufacturers within the same vicinity; plant tours will be conducted by the host companies.
Plant Tours will vary from 45 mins-1 hour depending on the size of the facility.
10-15 mins will be reserved at the end of the tour for Q&A with the host company.
Between 12-15 (participants may be split into two groups during plant tour walkthrough.)

A confidentiality agreement may be required depending on the manufacturer.
Registration does not guarantee tour acceptance. Host company may reject participation due to conflict of interest. Full refund will be provided if participation is rejected.
