Finding a Passion for Injury Prevention

Bill Bowman was only 19 years old when his life changed forever after experiencing a sudden traumatic workplace tragedy. Today, Bill serves as a dedicated volunteer with Threads of Life – the Association for Workplace Tragedy Family Support – and its Speakers Bureau. Threads of Life helps families affected by a workplace fatality, life-altering injury or occupational disease along their journey of healing. It provides these families with referrals and a one-on-one peer support program delivered by trained Volunteer Family Guides who have also experienced a workplace tragedy. Bill will share his deeply personal journey and unwavering commitment to injury prevention, offering invaluable insights and inspiration.
