In 2011 Shelly’s life and that of her family changed forever. In the blink of an eye, lives and futures changed and were re-shaped – and one lost. Shelly will share her family’s story so that we will each remember to take the extra step for safety in all situations. Shelly serves as a dedicated volunteer with Threads of Life – the Association for Workplace Tragedy Family Support – and its Speakers Bureau. Threads of Life helps families affected by a workplace fatality, life-altering injury or occupational disease along their journey of healing. Shelly will share her deeply personal journey and unwavering commitment to injury prevention, offering invaluable insights and inspiration.
